Become a certified lifeguard! ⬇️
The Happy Dolphins Project in collaboration with InspireDR has begun certifying lifeguards with the intention of creating a lifeguard program for Cabarete Beach.
While our beaches are gorgeous and mostly safe, there are swells throughout the year that cause rip currents right in Cabarete Bay, a beach where people swim with no flags or lifeguards to tell them if conditions are dangerous.
This program is a great step forward to making Cabarete a safe destination for visitors and will bring a much needed form of employment for Cabarete locals.
The March 27 course will be offered for $300USD and also offers a $500 USD course to become a certified lifeguard instructor, meaning you can certify others!
It would be wonderful to see some of the local businesses on Cabarete Beach sponsor 1 local each to become a guard for the city!
